Ten Gods · 伤官

Bold Output 伤官

The wide-open outlet — where the inside finally becomes outside.

Bold Output is what your Day Master produces in the opposite polarity — the sharper of the two output gods. The classical name 伤官 (shāng guān) literally says it injures the Officer, the Ten God of rules and structure. That tension is the whole character of it.

How it tends to show up

It reads as talent that wants to be seen. Strong Bold Output tends to produce visibly, argue with a rule it finds pointless, and get restless inside arrangements that reward compliance over results. A great deal of original work comes from this position.

The friction is structural rather than moral. The same refusal to accept an unearned rule makes for difficult reporting lines, and output released before it is finished invites criticism the work did not need. This is a description of a pattern, not a flaw in a person.

The relationship it names

Because Bold Output pushes against Direct Officer, charts carrying both often describe someone who does well in a structure they helped build and poorly in one imposed on them. Neither Ten God is the problem — the reading is about how the two are arranged.

Its pair

Gentle Output makes the same thing quietly. Where Bold Output publishes, Gentle Output practises.
