Indirect Wealth 偏财

Opportunity that moves fast — worth catching with a plan already written.

Indirect Wealth is the element your Day Master controls in the same polarity — resources that arrive through opportunity rather than through a fixed arrangement. It is the wider, faster-moving of the two wealth gods.

How it tends to show up

It reads as a good eye for an opening and an easy hand with money once it arrives. Generosity is common here, as is a comfort with irregular income that would unsettle a chart built on the steadier Direct Wealth. Opportunity is noticed early — often before it is obvious that it is one.

The same width makes it hard to hold. Money that came quickly leaves quickly, and a plan written after the opportunity appears is usually written too late. Where Direct Wealth over-counts, Indirect Wealth under-counts.

Where it comes from

It appears wherever a stem or hidden stem is the element you control, matching your polarity. Hidden placements matter here more than usual: opportunity that sits inside a branch rather than in the open often describes resources that exist but are not yet visible.

Read it as a relationship, not a forecast

Neither wealth god predicts an amount. Both describe how you meet resources — and the more useful question a chart answers is not how much, but through which route.
