Indirect Resource is the element that generates your Day Master in the same polarity — nourishment that arrives without the formal channel. Where Direct Resource is the credential, this is the insight that never sat an exam.

How it tends to show up

It reads as depth pursued off the main path. Strong Indirect Resource tends toward specialised or unusual study, arrives at conclusions by a route that is hard to reconstruct, and is comfortable with subjects most people find abstract. Technical mastery and genuine originality both live here.

Its cost is distance. Knowledge acquired alone can be hard to hand over, and the same detachment that allows clear observation can make ordinary connection feel effortful. Older texts treat this god more warily than its direct counterpart, largely for that reason.

Where it comes from

It appears wherever a stem or hidden stem produces your Day Master in matching polarity. Doubling matters — the same Ten God appearing in more than one position tends to intensify both the depth and the distance rather than balancing them out.
